Aeropress

The espresso machine was released to the market in 2006 by the American Alan Adler. Its simplicity and practicality along with the ability to prepare an excellent coffee have achieved its worldwide success and predilection among coffee aficionados.

Made of copolyester, polypropylene and thermoplastic elastomer, it is free of BPA.

 

TRADITIONAL METHOD

  • Insert the filter into the lid
  • Place the filter cover in the Air press tube
  • Moisten the filter with hot water
  • Add freshly ground coffee to the tube (weight/volume will be determined by your recipe)
  • Add water (the amount you determine by your recipe)
  • Stir with a spoon
  • When you're ready, insert the airpress plunger and push until you get the extraction

INVERTED METHOD

  • Insert the filter into the lid
  • Insert the plunger seal into the top of the airpress tube, but do not push it down (the seal should be 1 cm below the edge of the tube)
  • Inverts the airpress so that the plunger is at the bottom and the tube at the top
  • Moisten filter and filter cover with hot water
  • Add freshly ground coffee to the tube (weight/volume will be determined by your recipe)
  • Add water (the amount you determine by your recipe)
  • Stir with a spoon 
  • Place the filter cover in the air tube
  • When you're ready, put the airpress back in your cup or other container and press until you get the extraction.
