Caracolillo (PeaBerry)

The Caracolillo (Peaberry), is not a variety, nor a process. Normally, the fruit of the plant Coffee (Dicotyledona) is developed in two grains, on rare occasions only one of the two seeds (Monocotiledon) is fertilized developing in a small round grain.

What was initially considered a defective type of grain, over time has become a coffee highly valued and demanded by customers.
